Cammeray Golf Club is the perfect relaxed, friendly and scenic spot for your next event. Whether it’s a birthday, reunion, work-do or finally getting the group chat out of the chat, we can make it happen (within reason). We’ve got the Clubhouse (a section of the main room), the Bistro, the Verandah and the upper and lower Beer Gardens. Want exclusive use of the space? Let’s chat.
Lusso Kitchen has you covered with a vibrant, crowd pleasing menu that works for everything from kids’ parties to casual catch ups and special occasions. Lusso Kitchen are also happy to work with you to tailor the menu to suit your group. We don’t allow exterior caterers or outside food, but we promise ours is very good!
We love a celebration, but we don’t do 18ths, 21sts or weddings at Cammeray Golf, sorry…
Kids' parties
The most popular area for kids’ parties is our upper beer garden. It’s shaded and fenced and you’ll have exclusive use of the area for 3 hours for bookings of 30+. Face painters, entertainers and balloon wranglers are all welcome in this area only.
For kids’ parties before 12pm there is a minimum bar spend of $150 and a $250 minimum bar spend for parties after 12.30pm.
Celebration of Life / Wakes
The Clubhouse is available Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for a Celebration of Life or wake. Please note that we don’t do funeral ceremonies or services at the Club.
An area of the Clubhouse overlooking the golf course will be allocated to your group for a 3 hour time period. Please be mindful that other patrons will be present in and around the Clubhouse as we are an operating golf club.
There is a minimum bar spend of $500 for wakes.
Event FAQs & the fine print
A dinner for 20? Not an event – make your booking online. A surprise party for 50 with a curated menu, decorations and a cake? That’s an event. A baby shower with a balloon arch, flowers and a grazing board? That’s an event. Email us at [email protected] with the details for your groups over 20 and we’ll get you sorted.
Well, it depends. If you’d like exclusive use of the whole Clubhouse, yes. For smaller groups we require minimum bar spend. Contact us at [email protected] with the details for groups over 20 and we’ll get you sorted.
Yes, there is a $250 minimum bar spend for all events, which just means a few rounds on your bar tab.
You absolutely can, and should! Our bar staff can set it up for you and hold your licence and credit card behind the bar until it’s settled.
Golf Members enjoy member bar pricing when hosting an event. Social Members and Public Golf Members are absolutely welcome to book events too; however standard bar pricing applies.
No, but our bar prices are very reasonable, (some might say the best on the north shore!), and our wine list is excellent.
Nope. We are fully licenced, so outside drinks aren’t allowed on the premises, including the course. If you BYO we’ll have to ask you to leave – and nobody wants that.
Go for it! Balloons, flowers, funny hats – all good. Just no confetti, glitter or candles please – we like our tables unscorched and our floors unglittered.
