About Us

Cammeray Golf Club was established in 1906 to promote the game of golf and for our members and guests to engage in social activities and friendships.

Cammeray Golf Club is a not for profit organisation.  The income and property of the Club shall be applied solely to further its objects and no portion shall be distributed directly or indirectly to the members of the organisation except as genuine compensation for services rendered or expenses incurred on behalf of the organisation.

We are always looking to improve our facilities for the benefit of our Members, guests and local community.  There are many way to support Cammeray Golf Club and we are grateful to our Members who are so generous with both their time and donations to our Club.

Donations or a gift in memory from our Members are always gratefully received.  We would welcome a discussion with our General Manager, Layton Gould, to see how we could best remember your loved one at Cammeray Golf Club.

The Australian Sports Foundation was established by the Australian Government in 1986 to help sporting organisations raise funds for sporting projects and needs.  All donations made to Cammeray Golf Club via the Australian Sports Foundation will go towards providing capital for projects on the golf course or within the Clubhouse. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.

Play for Purpose is an online not-for-profit raffle that helps charities and sports groups to raise funds.  Tickets are just $10 and offers you a 1 in 34 chance to win an awesome prize.  Best of all, our Club receives $5 from every ticket purchased that has nominated Cammeray Golf Club as beneficiary.  There are thousands of prizes on offer in every draw – prizes include gold bullion, cars, holiday packages and gift vouchers!  With a 1 in 34 chance of winning a prize while supporting Cammeray Golf Club, Play for Purpose is the ultimate win-win raffle!

Cammeray Golf Club has a proud history of fundraising for worthy causes and supporting our local community.

In 2019, our Ladies Committee held a “Play for Hay Day” to raise funds to support Australia’s struggling farmers.  An outstanding $7,973.50 was raised thanks to our Members, guests and friends who supported this initiative so generously.

In previous years, the beneficiaries of the Ladies Committee fundraising include the Breast Cancer Foundation, Ovarian Cancer Australia and Taldumande Youth Services.
